The Prophecy
I love this Prologue, I will definitely be continuing to read the next scene!! Well done Hans 🖤
Thank you so much, means the world to me ❤️
I second Nathan's sentiment. The Prologue weaves a mystery that beckons the reader to continue. Well done.
Thank you so much, very kind of you! I wonder... does the old English, whatever it is called, seem too much?
Old English is always tricky, esp. if the rest of the text is modern. I tried once with the flash fiction piece "A Face So Fair" In short, if it's not essential to the story, it may be best to keep the same register throughout.
The nib kissed the surface of the parchment, and the man wrote.
I really like this line. Very evocative. Good intro. I'm intrigued 😃
My father used to say, "Auch ein blindes Huhn findet mal ein Korn," which translates to - Even a blind chicken finds a seed sometimes. 🤣
Thank you!! 🙌
That's a great saying! Love that.
